The Hockey Drive is a program that connects the entire City of Hamilton together and provides children with an opportunity to play hockey. The program, run by Reach Forth, facilitates the collection and distribution of used hockey equipment, as well as financial assistance with registration for a full season of organized hockey. Our goal is to see that everyone has an opportunity to play hockey.
The purpose of the program is to help eliminate the financial barriers for children to participate in the sport of hockey and to increase physical activity opportunities for children in Hamilton who might not otherwise have those opportunities. Children will receive all necessary equipment and funding to learn to play hockey and participate in Reach Forth’s Youth Hockey league.

The program needs volunteers to help with everything from picking up and sorting equipment, to teaching kids how to skate for the very first time! Sign up now to help out.
In order to make it as easy and convenient as possible for people to donate hockey equipment, we have designated drop off locations throughout the city. The more the better.
