The Hockey Drive is a program that connects the entire City of Hamilton together and provides children with an opportunity to play hockey. The program, run by Reach Forth, facilitates the collection and distribution of used hockey equipment, as well as financial assistance with registration for a full season of organized hockey. Our goal is to see that everyone has an opportunity to play hockey.
The purpose of the program is to help eliminate the financial barriers for children to participate in the sport of hockey and to increase physical activity opportunities for children in Hamilton who might not otherwise have those opportunities. Children will receive all necessary equipment and funding to learn to play hockey and participate in Reach Forth’s Youth Hockey league.
We are currently collecting hockey equipment throughout the city of Hamilton. See below for ways that you can get involved.
Ways To Get Involved:
Do you have hockey equipment collecting dust in your basement? Make good use of it by donating to our program and helping kids with an opportunity to play hockey. We accept new and used equipment.
